Aphrodite Litti, presenting a series of sculptures with lemons and quails, works with a clear allusion to Poros and its lemon grove. In her in situ sculptural installation "Inner Paradise", forms from the plant and animal world are isolated from their environment, change scale and, after the artist’s thorough handling are unexpectedly linked to it again. The artist places these forms in an artistic stage-like space where they acquire a narrative dimension. Light is reflected on the "natural objects", constructions made of copper, enamel and Murano tesserae, and are transformed into precious works of art. In the sculpted environment, human figures, fruit, insects and plants converse and become symbols.
