Born in Rizovouni (Preveza) in 1959, he studied at the Athens School of Fine Arts in the studios of Yannis Moralis and Dimitris Mytaras (1979-1985). Upon graduation, in 1986, he exhibited his works in Athens. Since then, he has had solo shows and has taken part in many group exhibitions. His works are in private and public collections. He has illustrated the books: Purpurella and Her Mandolin (Fotini Frangkouli, 1995), Cumin and Cinnamon (Collective Work, 1998), The Snake-born Princess and Other Stories, 1998 and The Thission Boat and Other Stories for children and grown-ups, (Elias Venezis, 2006). He lives and works in Athens and the island of Poros.
